At Daddy Daughter Crafts, LLC, we take pride in creating quality handcrafted wooden products. We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases and understand the time, materials, and craftsmanship that go into every piece.

Because our products range from ready-made items to custom woodworking projects, return and refund eligibility may vary depending on the type of purchase.

Returns

Returns of standard, non-customized products may be accepted in accordance with the return policy provided at the time of purchase.

To be eligible for an approved return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned with their original packaging or otherwise packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.

Customers must contact us before returning an item. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law, customers are responsible for return shipping costs associated with change-of-mind returns.

Custom & Personalized Orders

Custom-built, personalized, and made-to-order products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once completed, except in cases involving defects, errors, or other circumstances covered by applicable law.

These products are created according to customer specifications and may not be suitable for resale.

We encourage customers to carefully review and confirm all project details, including dimensions, materials, designs, personalization, and finishes, before approving their order.

Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes or cancellations before materials have been purchased or production has begun.

Once a custom project is underway, cancellation fees may apply to recover costs already incurred, including:

Materials purchased or allocated specifically for the project
Design, planning, and preparation work
Labor and production completed
Special-order materials and non-refundable supplier charges
Other documented project-related expenses

Any applicable cancellation charges will be based on actual costs incurred and the terms agreed upon before the order was accepted.

Certain custom projects, specialized materials, and products may be designated as Non-Cancellable and Non-Returnable (NCNR). These conditions will be disclosed during the quoting process and must be agreed upon before the order is placed.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, where possible, less any applicable charges agreed upon in advance and permitted by law.

Natural Wood Characteristics

Wood is a natural material, and variations in grain patterns, color, texture, and character are expected.

Each handcrafted piece is unique. Natural variations, including knots, grain differences, and minor color variations, are not considered defects unless they materially differ from the agreed specifications or product description.

Wood may also expand or contract in response to changes in temperature and humidity. Proper care and maintenance are important for preserving the quality and appearance of handcrafted wooden products.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us as soon as possible if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

When contacting us, please include your order information, a description of the issue, and photographs of the item and packaging when available.

We will review the issue and work toward an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights regarding defective, incorrectly supplied, or misrepresented products.

Exchanges

Exchanges may be considered for eligible standard products on a case-by-case basis.

Custom-built, personalized, and NCNR products are generally not eligible for exchanges, except where required by applicable law or otherwise agreed upon.

Please contact us before returning any item for an exchange.

Refund Processing

Once an approved return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the refund decision.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Original shipping charges and return shipping costs associated with voluntary returns may be non-refundable unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

Purchases Made Through Etsy

Orders placed through our Etsy storefront are subject to the return, exchange, and cancellation policies displayed on the applicable Etsy listing, along with Etsy's applicable buyer protection policies.
